Lots of changes at the Cottage

All this rain has made me feel the need for change.We have been moving things all around at the store and adding new items daily. Some large items have sold and there are new ones to replace them. The large main room upstairs was crying out for some soothing colors so we changed it all around. If you haven't stopped by lately, come on in. The coffee is awesome and the teapot is always ready.

I'm working on Valentine decor for the shop

I'm not really the bold bright red Valentine type, so I am working on my version of Valentines. We also are in the process of changing things all around in the store, After pulling out the Christmas items I was inspired to move things around. I've also brought in some new birdhouses so stop by when you have a chance and check out the new looks.

We had a great Christmas season at the store and enjoyed many wonderful customers. We had the pleasure of serving numerous Christmas High Teas and entertaining various other groups as they spent time with family, friends and coworkers . All fun things must come to an end as did the Christmas season.
Now it is on with the new year. We have been cleaning, fluffing and restocking. There are even signs of Valentines Day around the corner.
One thing you might want to take note of is a change in store hours. We will now be closed on Tuesdays until spring. The new hours will be .......

We feel it is important to constantly be filling the store with new merchandise and of course that takes time to accomplish. Please come and visit us on the days we are open and browse through new treasures.

Brrrrrrrrrr its cold outside!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas High Tea on Sunday. Thanks to all who came out and allowed us to serve them. Heating the building has turned out to be an event in itself. We finally got it warm before the visitors arrived .All in all it was a lovely time shared with friends. We enjoyed the quaintness of the tables nestled into the rooms so much that we left them set up. If you are out and about, stop by for a bit of tea. Time spent with family and friends is dear during this busy season.

It's a special open house this weekend!

We are having an open house this weekend with Hot cider and treats. There will be special carolers by candlelight Friday at 4:00 and we will be open till 7:00 pm. Saturday the fun continues with hot cider and treats 10-5:00 and then the Special high Tea Sunday by reservation. There are still some later afternoon openings if you are in the mood to be pampered. This should be a fun time with tables nestled throughout the store. Come on out and enjoy the holiday season with family or friends.
